THE TAMARA KODAI - RESORT AT KODAIKANAL

“My favourite thing: Going where I’ve never been.” Again it’s a blog on resort because these places are the best to explore at least once in our life.

Most of us have visited Kodaikanal as it is a great tourist place. But have you heard of TAMARA RESORT? - One of the top hotels in Kodaikanal. This was a fun trip and I enjoyed being there. It’s been 2 months since this trip yet the essence of fun, experience and love of nature didn’t vent out.

We were served with an awesome welcome drink in an extra spacious lobby. The way to our rooms was a bit long but it was great to explore the place. The ambiance, maintenance and especially every corner of the resort was planned and designed fantabulously.

Rooms were so spacious and my room had a balcony view of a flowery tree. To be honest, I don’t know it’s exact name but it looked pleasing. I’ll post a picture of it, if anyone knows it’s name please do comment friends. It was blissful to see the tree and I felt a rejoicing moment every-time I saw it.

As it was a week-day trip, Kodai - the vacation spot - was not very crowded. Most of the visiting spots were also closed due to COVID. Hanging outside the resort was a bit less fun as the resort itself had so many facilities for the fun and entertainment.

They had a play area for babies(indoor), play area for kids(outdoor), library, gym etc., They even had billiards, table tennis, chess, large snacks and ladder as indoor activities. As an outdoor activity for adults they had archery which was really a good time pass for us.

This trip was one and only fun. Moreover, we saw Actor Sarathkumar sir. We had a small conversation and took a picture with him. This was also one among a happy part of the whole trip.

I personally took lots of photos in and around the resort. Having a photoshoot is a fun element because I love capturing. And finally I must talk about the foods served, because it’s an important thing. They had so many varieties of dishes everyday, starting from the main dish to the desserts and every food tasted so yummy and delicious. Having a photoshoot, eating and roaming around the resort was my full time job from checking in till checking out the resort.

Definitely this was a trip of remembrance as the essence of fun and happiness never fades away. Have any of you experienced Tamara resort? If yes, do comment about your favourites'. If not, then try visiting the place once. Happy travelling.
