Off-beat Life

  Brihadeeshwarar Temple is a famous shivan temple located in Tanjore. It is famous for its architectural works which was built before 1000+ years(as everyone knows). I was much excited to see the historical building, but ended up with so many questions in mind. Any temple we visit, the sanctuary will be located in the last and down to the earth. But in Big temple, Lord Shiva’s sanctuary is located up where people climb up the stairs to pray. Why it is so high, is there any secret place under the temple? Also, I’ve heard of people saying that the temple is built in a way where natural disasters like earthquake can’t destroy the temple. Because, the temple is set up or built as if tanjore toy which doesn’t fall on floor. But, no where it is mentioned about the same.  Other temples don’t have open space or any paths directly from the sanctuary, but this temple has paths on both the side to exit. A start of next year may be just a normal day for many, but we may tend our minds to have a fresh start of our routine. Though it is a yet another day to pass, have a mind full of thoughts for growing ourselves up and achieve our fixed goal. Change your action to a different path.  Diwali is a festival to celebrate the victory of light over darkness. It is a new beginning of something good. My Diwali ‘21 is something so special and close to my heart. The day was well spent since I woke up. I celebrated this Diwali by visiting my family members, sharing sweets and happiness. Also, I took lots of photos with all my favourites. Best part of Diwali is my first sleep-over, the so called “Girls’ Night”.
